The Methodist Church has been in the Queensburgh area for over 140 years, serving the community.
Here at Queensburgh Methodist Church we believe that everyone needs hope, our passion is to embrace everyone, so that they can find peace and hope, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We are passionate about service, spreading the Good News, enhancing mission work, helping others to understand who Jesus is, and together to take those steps into their journey of faith.
Our Purpose
We believe that God placed us on this earth for His Glory. Living well not only at church, but in our homes, places of work, and in the community will bring God glory. We need to discover how to live well, assist each other, and be an example in the community.
WORSHIP
Worship is the way our lives praise God and bring Him honour. Worship is so much more than what we do when we sing songs. It is also how we listen to God and seek Him. As we reach towards God, with open hearts and honest prayers, we hope to encourage others to do the same.
STEWARDSHIP
Stewardship is the way we look at the things God has given us. Starting with relationships, we need to nurture and improve our family, church, work and community relationships. We also need to take care of the natural world around us, we are privileged to be living in an area with lush vegetation, diverse animal life, close to rivers and the sea.
MISSION
Mission is the way we reach out to others with love, firstly with the love of God. We take out Methodist Roots seriously "All need to be saved. All can be saved. All can know they are saved. All can be saved to the uttermost."
